Unchecked, the horses go, life-enduring; life moves around the dead, the mortal by the mortal—such is the womb of continuation.
Life endowed with breath, eager (in discharge of its functions), reposes, steady, in the midst of its (proper) abodes; the life of the mortal body, cognate with the mortal frame, endures immortal (sustained) by (obsequial) offerings.
That which hath breath and speed and life and motion lies firmly stablished in the midst of houses. Living, by offerings to the Dead he moveth Immortal One, the brother of the mortal.
