स्त्रियः॑ स॒तीस्ताँ उ॑ मे पुं॒स आ॑हुः॒ पश्य॑दक्ष॒ण्वान्न वि चे॑तद॒न्धः । क॒विर्यः पु॒त्रः स ई॒मा चि॑केत॒ यस्ता वि॑जा॒नात्स पि॒तुष्पि॒तास॑त्
striyaḥ satīstām̐ u me puṃsa āhuḥ paśyadakṣaṇvānna vi cetadandhaḥ kaviryaḥ putraḥ sa īmā ciketa yastā vijānātsa pituṣpitāsat
Women faithful, those were called my men; behold with sight, not blind in mind. The sage is the son; this one the wise recognized who knew the fathers and forefathers.
They have called thes, my virtuous feminine les, males; he who has eyes beholds; the blind man sees not; he whois a sage son understands this, and he who discriminates is the father of the father.
They told me these were males, though truly females: he who hath eyes sees this, the blind discerns not. The son who is a sage hath comprehended: who knows this rightly is his father's father.
