नि॒क्रम॑णं नि॒षद॑नं वि॒वर्त॑नं॒ यच्च॒ पड्बी॑श॒मर्व॑तः । यच्च॑ प॒पौ यच्च॑ घा॒सिं ज॒घास॒ सर्वा॒ ता ते॒ अपि॑ दे॒वेष्व॑स्तु
nikramaṇaṃ niṣadanaṃ vivartanaṃ yacca paḍbīśamarvataḥ yacca papau yacca ghāsiṃ jaghāsa sarvā tā te api deveṣvastu
The going out, the sitting, the turning — and what the beam‑feller did — what the partridge ate and what the grass devoured — all these things may they also be among the gods for you.
May the plural ce of going forth, of tarrying, of rolling on the ground; the foot-fastening of the horse, (the water) that he has drunk, the grass that he has eaten; may all these be thine among the gods.
The starting-place, his place of rest and rolling, the ropes wherewith the Charger's feet were fastened, The water that he drank, the food he tasted, -among the Gods, too, may all these attend thee.
