एकं॑ चम॒सं च॒तुरः॑ कृणोतन॒ तद्वो॑ दे॒वा अ॑ब्रुव॒न्तद्व॒ आग॑मम् । सौध॑न्वना॒ यद्ये॒वा क॑रि॒ष्यथ॑ सा॒कं दे॒वैर्य॒ज्ञिया॑सो भविष्यथ
ekaṃ camasaṃ caturaḥ kṛṇotana tadvo devā abruvantadva āgamam saudhanvanā yadyevā kariṣyatha sākaṃ devairyajñiyāso bhaviṣyatha
One cut the flesh into four pieces; the gods spoke to you about that offering’s coming. If the sacrificer would perform that, with the gods the worshipers would become.
Make fourfold the single ladle; so the gods command you; and for that purpose have I come, sons of Sudhanvan; if you accomplish this, you will be entitled to sacrifices along with the gods.
The chalice that is single make ye into four: thus have the Gods commanded; therefore am I come. If, O Sudhanvan's Children, ye will do this thing ye shall participate in sacrifice with Gods.
