viṣṇornu kaṃ vīryāṇi pra vocaṃ yaḥ pārthivāni vimame rajāṃsi yo askabhāyaduttaraṃ sadhasthaṃ vicakramāṇastredhorugāyaḥ
Tell us, O Vishnu, of what your heroic deeds are — you who measured out earthly realms; who, bounding forward, traversed the middle and the three courses of steeds.
Earnetly I glorify the exploits of Viṣṇu, who made the three worlds; who sustained the lofty aggregate site (of the spheres); thrice traversing (the whole); who is praised by the exalted.
I WILL declare the mighty deeds of Visnu, of him who measured out the earthly regions, Who propped the highest place of congregation, thrice setting down his footstep, widely striding.
