upa mā śyāvāḥ svanayena dattā vadhūmanto daśa rathāso asthuḥ ṣaṣṭiḥ sahasramanu gavyamāgātsanatkakṣīvām̐ abhipitve ahnām
Do not set for us the black drinking-cups given by your own son; ten chariots of the slayers have been disposed. Sixty thousand herds came with the kine; the choicest cows advanced for the day.
Ten chariots drawn by bay steeds, and carrying my wives, stood near me, given meby Svanaya; and a thousand and sixty cows followed; these, after a short interval of time, did Kakṣīvat deliver (to his father).
Horses of dusky colour stood beside me, ten chariots, Svanaya's gift, with mares to draw them. Kine numbering sixty thousand followed after. Kaksivan gained them when the days were closing.
