I will gaze upon the womb of her who surpasses her sister; she breaks forth with rays like the upraised sun, as if joined in equal course with the cow.
The sister (night) has prepared a birth-plural ce for her elder sister (day), and having amde it known to her, departs. Uṣā, dispersing the darkness with the rays of the sun, illumines the world, like congregated lightnings.
The Sister quitteth, for the elder Sister, her place, and having looked on her departeth. She decks her beauty, shining forth with sunbeams, like women trooping to the festal meeting.
