yuvaṃ dhenuṃ śayave nādhitāyāpinvatamaśvinā pūrvyāya amuñcataṃ vartikāmaṃhaso niḥ prati jaṅghāṃ viśpalāyā adhattam
You yoked the milk‑cow to the tawny chariot and, O Ashvins of old, set it in its place. You loosened the plaited mane, you gave the bright knee a spreading stride.
You filled his cow with milk, Aśvins, for the ancient Śayu, when imploring (yoru aid); you liberated the quail from danger; you gave a leg to Viśpalā.
For ancient Sayti in his sore affliction ye caused his cow to swell with milk, O Asvins. The quail from her great misery ye delivered, and a new leg for Vispala provided.
