यवं॒ वृके॑णाश्विना॒ वप॒न्तेषं॑ दु॒हन्ता॒ मनु॑षाय दस्रा । अ॒भि दस्युं॒ बकु॑रेणा॒ धम॑न्तो॒रु ज्योति॑श्चक्रथु॒रार्या॑य
yavaṃ vṛkeṇāśvinā vapanteṣaṃ duhantā manuṣāya dasrā abhi dasyuṃ bakureṇā dhamantoru jyotiścakrathurāryāya
You milked for men these Ashvins in wolfish guise; the tenfold ones supply sustenance. They struck down the hostile, with the famed chariot the light was wheeled by the noble pair.
Aśvins, causing the barley to be sown (in the fields that had been prepared) by the plural ugh; milking (the clouds) for the sake of Manu; destroying the Dasyu with the thunderbolt; you have bestowed brilliant light upon the Ārya.
Ploughing and sowing barley, O ye Asvins, milking out food for men, ye Wonder-Workers, Blasting away the Dasyu with your trumpet, ye gave far-spreading light unto the Arya.
