vīḷupatmabhirāśuhemabhirvā devānāṃ vā jūtibhiḥ śāśadānā tadrāsabho nāsatyā sahasramājā yamasya pradhane jigāya
Swift of wing, soon they yoked themselves—either of the gods or with victors' hosts, they dwelt. That swift steed Nasatya, born a thousandfold, conquered Yama's chief.
Nāsatyas, borne by strong and rapid (steeds), and (urged) by the encouragements of the gods, the ass of you, thus instrumental gated, overcame a thousand (enemies) in conflict, in the war grateful to Yama.
Borne on by rapid steeds of mighty pinion, or proudly trusting in the Gods' incitements. That stallion ass of yours won, O Nasatyas, that thousand in the race, in Yama's contest.
