nāsatyābhyāṃ barhiriva pra vṛñje stomām̐ iyarmyabhriyeva vātaḥ yāvarbhagāya vimadāya jāyāṃ senājuvā nyūhatū rathena
Like two Nasatyas we extend the hymn far forth; as the wind the song moves. For as long as portion and joy, the army of births advanced, the chariot rushed forth.
In like manner as a worshipper strews the sacred grass for the Nāsatyas, so do I urge on their laudations, as the wind drives on the clouds; they, who gave a bride to the youthful Vimada, and bore her away in their car, outstripping the rival host.
I TRIM like grass my song for the Nasatyas and send their lauds forth as the wind drives rain-clouds, Who, in a chariot rapid as an arrow, brought to the youthful Vimada a consort.
