Bright‑eyed, she knows the songs of those who arise; wondrously adorned, she brings prosperity. Spread abroad, O dawn, our realms, proclaim the radiant worlds begetting all.
Brilliant guide of the speakers of truth, the many-tinted dawn, is recognized by us; she has opened our doors; having illuminated the world, she has made our riches manifest. Uṣās gives back all the regions (that had been swallowed up by night).
Bright leader of glad sounds, our eyes behold her; splendid in hue she hath unclosed the portals. She, stirring up the world, hath shown us riches: Dawn hath awakened every living creature.
