अश्र॑वं॒ हि भू॑रि॒दाव॑त्तरा वां॒ विजा॑मातुरु॒त वा॑ घा स्या॒लात् । अथा॒ सोम॑स्य॒ प्रय॑ती यु॒वभ्या॒मिन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ स्तोमं॑ जनयामि॒ नव्य॑म्
aśravaṃ hi bhūridāvattarā vāṃ vijāmāturuta vā ghā syālāt athā somasya prayatī yuvabhyāmindrāgnī stomaṃ janayāmi navyam
The sound has indeed come forth, far-reaching, prostrating you; thus I, bearing soma, bring forth a new hymn to Indra and Agni for you two.
I have heard, Indra and Agni, that you are more munificent givers than an unworthy bridegroom, or the brother of a bride; therefore, as I offer you a Soma libation, I address you, Indra and Agni, with a new hymn.
For I have heard that ye give wealth more freely than worthless son-in-law or spouse's brother. So offering to you this draught of Soma, I make you this new hymn, Indra and Agni,
