स धा॑रयत्पृथि॒वीं प॒प्रथ॑च्च॒ वज्रे॑ण ह॒त्वा निर॒पः स॑सर्ज । अह॒न्नहि॒मभि॑नद्रौहि॒णं व्यह॒न्व्यं॑सं म॒घवा॒ शची॑भिः
sa dhārayatpṛthivīṃ paprathacca vajreṇa hatvā nirapaḥ sasarja ahannahimabhinadrauhiṇaṃ vyahanvyaṃsaṃ maghavā śacībhiḥ
He upheld the earth and established the firmament with the thunderbolt; striking down the resisting foe he created anew. At dawn he smote the hostile herd; with strength the mighty ones carried him along with heroic might.
He upholds, and has spread out, the earth; having struck (the clouds), he has extricated the waters; he has slain Ahi, he has pierced Rauhiṇa, he has destroyed, by his prowess, the mutilated (Vṛtra).
He spread the wide earth out and firmly fixed it, smote with his thunderbolt and loosed the waters. Maghavan with his puissance struck down Ahi, rent Rauhipa to death and slaughtered Vyarnsa.
