जनु धेनु बालक बच्छ तजि गृहँ चरन बन परबस गईं। दिन अंत पुर रुख स्त्रवत थन हुंकार करि धावत भई।। अति प्रेम सब मातु भेटीं बचन मृदु बहुबिधि कहे। गइ बिषम बियोग भव तिन्ह हरष सुख अगनित लहे।।
janu dhēnu bālaka baccha taji gṛhaom carana bana parabasa gaīṃ. dina aṃta pura rukha stravata thana huṃkāra kari dhāvata bhaī.. ati prēma saba mātu bhēṭīṃ bacana mṛdu bahubidhi kahē. gai biṣama biyōga bhava tinha haraṣa sukha aganita lahē..
It seemed as though cows that had recently calved and had been forced to go out to the woods for grazing, leaving their little ones at home, had at the close of day rushed forth lowing towards the village with dripping teats. The Lord met all the mothers with utmost affection and spoke many a soft words to them. In this way the dire calamity that had come upon them as a result of separation from Sri Rama came to an end and they derived infinite joy and gratification.
