As in days of yore Indra with his thunder destroyed the horses and car of Baliraj (Asura), so Partha, powerful as the thousand-armed were (Kartavirya) with various shafts distressed Kripa's driver and his horses and cut-off his bow and arrows as also his banner of his chariot.
