At the command of Dharmaraja (Yudhishthira), the mighty-armed (Arjuna), clad in mail and incased with gauntlets and furnished with finger protectors made of the guana skin, taking up the Gandiva (bow) and also his inexhaustible quivers; and having poured oblations into the fire and made the Brahmanas utter benediction on receipts of gifts, started to see Purandara (Indra).
