O descendant of Kuru, the firmly truthful king Jarasandha spoke to them thus, “It is wellknown to me that no where in the whole world the Brahmanas engaged in observing the Snataka vows ever adorn themselves with garlands or with fragrant paste. Who are you then, thus adorned with flowers and with hands that bear the marks of the bow-string?
