Sūta said: Then, in due course of time, she gave birth to a son destined to make the family flourish. He was devoted to Vāsudeva. He maintained a good conduct. He was richly endowed with auspicious characteristics, and had curly hairs that resembled small wheels. On seeing the son born the father performed all holy rites.
