Sūta said: By means of japa performed in accordance with the injunctions, hundred and eight times and thrice a day, one shall undoubtedly be rid of all miseries. If he performs the japa, a thousand and eight times, Siddhis occur to him within six months. Even the kings and rulers of provinces achieve Siddhis. There is no doubt about this.
