Śailādi said: I worship Vāgīśvarī. Then the rite of invocation of Vāgīśvara is performed. I invoke Vāgīśvara who has a single face, and four arms, who has the lustre of pure crystal, whose hands show the gesture of offering boons and freedom from fear, who holds the axe and the deer, who is bedecked in matted hairs serving the purpose of a coronet and who is adorned by all ornaments.
