Viṣṇu said: Formerly, after propitiating you the enemies were slain by us in the battle. You are a submarine fire. Not satiated by drinking all the waters of the ocean, you are infuriated in form, but delighted within. You are the bestower of desires; you can go as you wish; you are fond (of us); you are the celibate religious student. You are unfathomable and favourably disposed towards the Brahmins; you are adored by the society.
