क्षिप्त्वा चार्घं यथापूर्वं दत्त्वा हस्तेषु वै पुनः। संस्त्रवांश्च ततः सर्वान पात्रे कुर्यात समाहितः। पितृभ्यः स्थानमेतेन न्युब्जं पात्रं निधापयेत।।
kṣiptvā cārghaṃ yathāpūrvaṃ dattvā hasteṣu vai punaḥ| saṃstravāṃśca tataḥ sarvān pātre kuryāt samāhitaḥ| pitṛbhyaḥ sthānametena nyubjaṃ pātraṃ nidhāpayet||
After invoking the Pitrs and being permitted by the Brahmanas he shall perform the Japa of the Mantra Ayantu nah: Pitarah (Vaj. Sarh 19. 58) etc. Repeating the Mantra Sanno Devih etc. he should pour water in the vessel and place gingelly seed, repeating the mantra Tilosi etc. Pouring Arghya on the hands as before, he should, with concentration, put the Sarhsravas (mixing of waters from the Argha-vessel and vessel for Pitrs).
