Vāyu said: There is a splendid and auspicious palace of thousand columns. It is made of gold and it is studded with excellent matchless gems and jewels all round, with crystals resembling the moon, with precious stones as lustrous as Lapis Lazuli and with various other gems brilliant like the morning sun or golden in colour or having the brilliant lustre of fire.”
