Vasiṣṭha said: As they sat there with their soul and the mind submerged in gloom (lit. not much delighted), they saw many important and splendid omens whereby they were consoled a little, in their minds. The leading sages sat there along with their mother, eagerly expecting the revival of their father back to life.
