Sūta said: The cow, the goat, the man, the sheep, the horse, the mule and the donkey—these are remembered as seven rural (Grāmya) domesticated animals. There are other seven forest animals, the beasts of prey, the tigers, the elephants, the monkey, the birds as the fifth of the set, the aquatic animals as the sixth ones and the reptiles as the seventh ones.
