Sūta Narrated: “Give us the means of sustenance as per promise by the great sages”. On being approached (and requested) thus by the subjects, the mighty ruler with a desire for the welfare of the subjects, seized his bow and arrows and rushed at the Earth. Thereupon, afraid of the son of Vena, the Earth assumed the form of a cow and began to flee.
