Sūta said: Previously his name has been mentioned by me while recounting the names (of deities). It is he who has been wholly glorified by the name of Padmanābha. He is omnipresent. He is worshipped in all abodes, viz. on the earth, the nether-worlds, the firmament, the wind and the fire. Undoubtedly He is worshipped in all the seas and in the heaven. This self-same Lord of great splendour is worshipped in darkness as well, it should be known.
