Romaharṣaṇa said: The regions interspersed with these mountains are partially inhabited by Āryas and partially by the Mlecchas (tribal-barbarous-people). The following rivers (beginning with) the Gaṅgā, the Sindhu and the Sarasvatī are utilised by them for drinking purposes.
