तदुपश्रुत्य दक्षस्तु रुद्रं सो ऽभ्य शपत्पुनः। यस्मात्त्वं मत्कृते ऽनिष्टमृषीणां कृतवानसि। तस्मात्सार्द्धं सुरैर्यज्ञे न त्वां यक्ष्यन्ति वै द्विजाः।।
tadupaśrutya dakṣastu rudraṃ so 'bhya śapatpunaḥ| yasmāttvaṃ matkṛte 'niṣṭamṛṣīṇāṃ kṛtavānasi| tasmātsārddhaṃ surairyajñe na tvāṃ yakṣyanti vai dvijāḥ||
