If at the time of marriage ( vivāha ) the rising sign be occupied by the Sun or Mars , the woman will become a widow; if it be occupied by Rāhu , the son will die. If by Saturn, there will be poverty; if by Venus . Mercury or Jupiter, the woman will remain chaste; and if by the Moon, the woman will die early.
