The four prime quarters beginning from the east refer to silver, gold, sick patients and to women and also to sheep, carriage, sacrificial rite and cow-shed. The eight quarters beginning from the east refer to the banyan tree, the red tree, the Rodhra , the bamboo, the mango, the Khadira , the Bilva and the Arjuna trees respectively.
