If the leaves exceed their measure at night or the nut exceed its measure by day the effect will be good; if the case be otherwise, the Tāmbūla will not be found sweet. If the Ṭāmbūla contain as its ingredients Kakkola, Arecanut, Lavalīphala and Pārijāta , it will exhilarate the spirit and excite sexual passion.
