Form a mixture of Kṛmiripu. of barley, of Madhuyaṣṭi and of jaggery; rub it over any tree yielding bitter fruit, after slightly grazing out the bark with a knife, pour at the root a mixture of milk and water; the tree will thenceforth yield sweet fruits.
