There are undercurrents (dakārgala) in places where the Khaṛjūra, Jambu , Arjuna and the Vetasā trees are seen to grow, or where there grow milky trees, shrubs and creepers or where the Chatra , Ibha , Nāga , Śatapatra , Nīpa , Sinduvāra and Naktamāla trees are seen to grow. Again, where the tree Vibhītaka or Madayantikā is seen to grow, there will be a current at the spot at a depth of three men. If rocks are found one over the other, there will be undercurrents at a depth of three men at their foot.
