Vācaspataye pavasva vṛṣṇo' a ` mśubhyā≈ gabhastipūutaḥ. Devo devebhyaḥ pavasva yeṣā≈ bhāgo'si.
Blow, Vācaspati, inspire the purifier, O Vṛṣṇa, manifest in auspiciousness. God among gods, purify those whose portion is yours.

मधुमतीर्नऽ इषस्कृधि यत्ते सोमादाभ्यं नाम जागृवि तस्मै ते सोम सोमाय स्वाहा स्वाहोर्वन्तरिक्षमन्वेमि।
Madhumatīrna' iṣaskṛdhi yatte somādābhya≈ nāma jāgṛvi tasmai te soma somāya svāhā svāhorvantarikṣamanvemi.
Let not the sweet‑minded injure; what they invoked by Soma's name they roused — to him, O Soma, be this oblation, svāhā. I approach the mid‑air.

स्वाङ्कृतोऽसि विश्वेभ्यऽ इन्द्रियेभ्यो दिव्येभ्यः पार्थिवेभ्यो मनस्त्वाष्टु स्वाहा त्वा सुभव सूउर्याय देवेभ्यस्त्वा मरीचिपेभ्यो देवांशो यस्मै त्वेडे तत्सत्यमुपरिप्रुता भङ्गेन हतोऽसौ फट प्राणाय त्वा व्यानाय त्वा।
SvāΔkṛto'si viśvebhya' indriyebhyo divyebhyaḥ pārthivebhyo manastvāṣṭu svāhā tvā subhava sūuryāya devebhyastvā marīcipebhyo devāṃśo yasmai tveŒe tatsatyamupariprutā bhaΔgena hato'sau phaṭ prāṇāya tvā vyānāya tvā.
You are appointed over all, over the senses, divine and earthly; may your mind be eightfold, svāhā. Be auspicious for the Sun, to the gods you are from the ray‑born ones; to whom you belong this truth is firmly established. Struck by the bolt, he is slain; for breath, for vyāna, svāhā.

ऊपयामगृहीतोऽस्यन्तर्यच्छ मघवन पाहि सोमम। ऊरुष्य रायऽ एषो यजस्व।
ūpayāmagṛhīto'syantaryaccha maghavan pāhi somam. ūruṣya rāya' eṣo yajasva.
He has been brought and held; Maghavan, protect Soma. This wealth is to be sacrificed; perform it, O king.

आन्तस्ते द्यावापृथिवी दधाम्यन्तर्दधाम्युर्वन्तरिक्षम। सजू उ र्देवेभिरवरैः परैश्चान्तर्यामे मघवन मादयस्व।
āntaste dyāvāpṛthivī dadhāmyantardadhāmyurvantarikṣam. Sajū u rdevebhiravaraiḥ paraiścāntaryāme maghavan mādayasva.
Within you I place heaven and earth; within I place the mid‑air. With the noble gods and the superior ones and others I place the inner space; Maghavan, intoxicate it.

स्वाङ्कृतोऽसि विश्वेभ्यऽ इन्द्रियेभ्यो दिव्येभ्यः पार्थिवेभ्यो मनस्त्वाष्टु स्वाहा। त्वा सुभव सूउर्याय देवेभ्यस्त्वा मरीचिपेभ्यऽ उदानाय त्वा।
SvāΔkṛto'si viśvebhya' indriyebhyo divyebhyaḥ pārthivebhyo manastvāṣṭu svāhā. Tvā subhava sūuryāya devebhyastvā marīcipebhya' udānāya tvā.
You are appointed over all, over the senses, divine and earthly; may your mind be eightfold, svāhā. Be auspicious for the Sun, to the gods you are from the ray‑born ones; to the marīci‑born ones be for udāna, svāhā.
Yajurveda 7.8 — Indra-Vayu Devate

ईन्द्रवायूउऽ इमे सुताऽ उप प्रयोभिरागतम। ईन्दवो वामुशन्ति हि। ऊपयामगृहीतोऽसि वायवऽ इन्द्रवायुभ्यां त्वैष ते योनिः सजोषोभ्यां त्वा।
īndravāyūu' ime sutā' upa prayobhirāgatam. īndavo vāmuśanti hi. ūpayāmagṛhīto'si vāyava' indravāyubhyā≈ tvaiṣa te yoniḥ sajoṣobhyā≈ tvā.
O Indra and Vāyu, these born ones have come near with offerings. The Indras support on the left. You were taken up by the pair Indra–Vāyu; this is your womb, O twofold source, it shelters you.
Yajurveda 7.10 — Mitra-Varuna Devate

राया वयं ससवांसो मदेम हव्येन देवा यवसेन गावः। तां धेनुं मित्रावरुणा युवं नो विश्वाहा धत्तमनपस्फुरन्तीम-एष ते योनिरृतायुभ्यां त्वा।
Rāyā vayaṃ sasavāṃso madema havyena devā yavasena gāvaḥ. Tā≈ dhenu≈ mitrāvaruṇā yuva≈ no viśvāhā dhattamanapasphurantīm-eṣa te yonirṛtāyubhyā≈ tvā.
Rulers, we, born with sacrificial fuel, grant strength with the sacrificial oblation like cows with barley. Let Mitra and Varuṇa sustain that cow for us; may she place abundant strength and not fail—this is your womb, from which falsehoods are banished.

या वां कशा मधुमत्यश्विना सूउनृतावती। तया यज्ञं मिमिक्षतम। ऊपयामगृहीतोऽ स्यश्विभ्यां त्वैष ते योनिर्माध्वीभ्यां त्वा।
Yā vā≈ kaśā madhumatyaśvinā sūunṛtāvatī. Tayā yaj¤a≈ mimikṣatam. ūpayāmagṛhīto' syaśvibhyā≈ tvaiṣa te yonirmādhvībhyā≈ tvā.
She who is sweet like honey, borne by the Ashvins and truthful in heralding—by her was this sacrifice observed. You were taken up by those horses; this is your womb, O one of sap, it makes you rich in sap.
Yajurveda 7.12 — Vishvedeva Devata

तं प्रत्न्था पू उ र्वथा विश्वथेमथा ज्येष्ठतातिं बर्हिषदम स्वर्विदम। प्रतीचीनं वृजनं दोहसे धुनिमाशुं जयन्तमनु यासु वर्धसे। ऊपयामगृहीतोऽसि शण्डाय त्वैष ते योनिर्वीरतां पाह्यपमृष्टः शण्डो देवास्त्वा शुक्रपाः प्रणयन्त्वनाधृष्टाऽसि।
Ta≈ pratnthā pū u rvathā viśvathemathā jyeṣṭhatāti≈ barhiṣadam ` svarvidam. Pratīcīna≈ vṛjana≈ dohase dhunimāśu≈ jayantamanu yāsu vardhase. ūpayāmagṛhīto'si śaṇŒāya tvaiṣa te yonirvīratā≈ pāhyapamṛṣṭaḥ śaṇŒo devāstvā śukrapāḥ praṇayantvanādhṛṣṭā'si.
You, O sovereign, established in the assembly like the foremost, knowing the heaven and the high order. Facing east you drive the people, swiftly smiting the foe; you grow victorious among those who follow you. Seized and brought forward, you are the womb of strength for the fierce; the gods and the bright ones bow to you, and you, unrestrained, delight the lovers (or the beloved).

आच्छिन्नस्य ते देव सोम सूउवीर्यस्य रायस्पोषस्य ददितारः स्याम। सा प्रथमा संस्कृतिर्विश्ववारा स प्रथमो वरुणो मित्रोऽ अग्निः।
ācchinnasya te deva soma sūuvīryasya rāyaspoṣasya daditāraḥ syāma. Sā prathamā saṃskṛtirviśvavārā sa prathamo varuṇo mitro' agniḥ.
May I be the dispenser of the divine Soma, of invincible vigour, of royal nourishment. May she be the first culture, the universal bestower; may Varuṇa, Mitra and Agni be foremost.
Yajurveda 7.16 — Vishvedeva Devata

आयं वेनश्चोदयत पृष्निगर्भा ज्योतिर्जरायूउ रजसो विमाने। ईममपां सङ्गमे सूउर्यस्य शिशुं न विप्रा मतिभी रिहन्ति। ऊपयामगृहितोऽसि मर्काय त्वा।
āya≈ venaścodayat pṛṣnigarbhā jyotirjarāyūu rajaso vimāne. īmamapāṃ saΔgame sūuryasya śiśu≈ na viprā matibhī rihanti. ūpayāmagṛhito'si markāya tvā.
This arrow stirred the water; from the womb of Pṛṣni arose a light of aged vigor in the aerial realms. In this union of waters the sun’s child — neither Brahmin nor wise men can extinguish — was born. You were seized and brought, O Markāya.
Yajurveda 7.17 — Vishvedeva Devata

इ।क; मनो न येषु हवनेषु तिग्मां विपः शच्या वनुथो द्रवन्ता। आ यः शर्याभिस्तुविनृम्णोऽ अस्याश्रीणीतादिशं गभस्तावेष ते योनिः प्रजाः पाह्यपमृष्टो मर्को देवास्त्वा मन्थिपाः प्रणयन्त्व-नाधृष्टासि।
iz.k; Mano na yeṣu havaneṣu tigmā≈ vipaḥ śacyā vanutho dravantā. Å yaḥ śaryābhistuvinṛmṇo' asyāśrīṇītādiśa≈ gabhastāveṣa te yoniḥ prajāḥ pāhyapamṛṣṭo marko devāstvā manthipāḥ praṇayantva-nādhṛṣṭāsi.
Do not let the mind in these sacrificial rites be harsh; let the priests, radiant and swift, melt away like flowing butter. May he, struck by arrows and unbound from praise, from whom auspicious gifts proceed — may his womb bear offspring; may their progeny be born unharmed. May the gods, unshaken, propitiate you with offerings and conceive favorably.
Yajurveda 7.18 — Prajapati Devata

सुप्रजाः प्रजाः प्रजनयन परीह्यभि रायस्पोषेण यजमानम। सञ्जग्मानो दिवा पृथिव्या मन्थी मन्थिशोचिषा निरस्तो मर्को मन्थिनोऽधिष्ठानमसि।
Suprajāḥ prajāḥ prajanayan parīhyabhi rāyaspoṣeṇa yajamānam. Sa¤jagmāno divā pṛthivyā manthī manthiśociṣā nirasto marko manthino'dhiṣṭhānamasi.
O maker of progeny, who begets many children and nourishes them with royal sustenance, you rose up by day over the earth. O churning one, dispeller of the churning-despair, remover of the dark, you are the seat of the churner.
Yajurveda 7.20 — Yajna Devata

ऊपयामगृहीतोऽ स्याग्रयणोऽसि स्वाग्रयणः। पाहि यज्ञं पाहि यज्ञपतिं विष्णुस्त्वामिन्द्रियेण पातु विष्णुं त्वं पाह्यभि सवनानि पाहि।
ūpayāmagṛhīto' syāgrayaṇo'si svāgrayaṇaḥ. Pāhi yaj¤a≈ pāhi yaj¤apati≈ viṣṇustvāmindriyeṇa pātu viṣṇu≈ tva≈ pāhyabhi savanāni pāhi.
Having been brought near and clasped, you are the foremost clasp; protect the sacrifice, protect the lord of the sacrifice. May Viṣṇu protect you with his senses; may Viṣṇu guard the offerings; protect (them).
Yajurveda 7.22 — Vishvedeva Devata

ऊपयामगृहीतोऽसीन्द्राय त्वा बृहद्वते वयस्वतऽ उक्थाव्यं गृह्णामि। यत्तऽ इन्द्र बृहद्वयस्तस्मै त्वा विष्णवे त्वैष ते योनिरुक्थेभ्यस्त्वा देवेभ्यस्त्वा देवाव्यं यज्ञस्यायुषे गृह्णामि।
ūpayāmagṛhīto'sīndrāya tvā bṛhadvate vayasvata' ukthāvya≈ gṛhṇāmi. Yatta' indra bṛhadvayastasmai tvā viṣṇave tvaiṣa te yonirukthebhyastvā devebhyastvā devāvya≈ yaj¤asyāyuṣe gṛhṇāmi.
I grasp and take you, O Indra, like one who has attained great vigour; I take you as a mighty, youthful force born from hymns. As Indra, great vigour, to him; as Viṣṇu, to you — this is your source from the hymns, from the gods, from the sacrifice, for life I take you.
Yajurveda 7.24 — Vishvedeva Devata

मूउर्द्धानं दिवोऽ अरतिं पृथिव्या वैश्वानरमृतऽ आ जातमग्निं। कविं सम्राजमतिथिम जनानामासन्ना पात्रं जनयन्त देवाः।
Mūurddhāna≈ divo' arati≈ pṛthivyā vaiśvānaramṛta' ā jātamagni≈. Kaviṃ samrājamatithim janānāmāsannā pātra≈ janayanta devāḥ.
Having risen from the heights of heaven and earth, Vaishvanara (the universal fire), born of Amrita, came forth as Agni. The gods produced a poet, a sovereign, a guest for mankind — they fashioned a suitable vessel.

ऊपयामगृहीतोऽसि ध्रुवोऽसि ध्रुवक्षितिर्ध्रुवाणां ध्रुवतमोऽच्युतानामच्युतक्षित्तमऽ एष ते योनिर्वैश्वानराय त्वा। ध्रुवं ध्रुवेण मनसा वाचा सोममवनयामि। आथा नऽ इन्द्रऽ इद्विशोऽसपत्नाः समनसस्करत।
ūpayāmagṛhīto'si dhruvo'si dhruvakṣitirdhruvāṇā≈ dhruvatamo'cyutānāmacyutakṣittama' eṣa te yonirvaiśvānarāya tvā. Dhruva≈ dhruveṇa manasā vācā somamavanayāmi. āthā na' indra' idviśo'sapatnāḥ samanasaskarat.
You are grasped and upheld; you are Dhruva, the steadfast; the protector of the steadfast, the supreme steadfast among the infallible, the highest refuge of the infallible—this is your womb for Viśvānara. Firmly, with firmness, with mind and speech I invoke Soma. Now, O Indra, do not let the hostile forces of this world be equal-minded.

एउल यस्ते द्रप्स स्कन्दति यस्तेऽ अंशुर्ग्रावच्युतो धिषणयोरुपस्थात। आध्वर्योर्वा परि वा यः पवित्रात्तम ते जुहोमि मनसा वषट्कृतं स्वाहा देवानामुत्क्रमणमसि।
eul Yaste drapsa skandati yaste' aṃśurgrāvacyuto dhiṣaṇayorupasthāt. ādhvaryorvā pari vā yaḥ pavitrāttam te juhomi manasā vaṣaṭkṛtaṃ svāhā devānāmutkramaṇamasi.
He who trembles at drops, he from whom the sun has slipped down, who stands between the poles of the offerings — whether priest or worshipper, whoever is purified — I offer that to you with the mind’s recitation, pronounced Vaṣaṭ, Svāhā. You are the departure of the gods.

आत्मने मे वर्चोदा वर्चसे पवस्वौजसे मे वर्चोदा वर्चसे पवस्वायुषे मे वर्चोदा वर्चसे पवस्व विश्वाभ्यो मे प्रजाभ्यो वर्चोदसौ वर्चसे पवेथाम।
Åtmane me varcodā varcase pavasvaujase me varcodā varcase pavasvāyuṣe me varcodā varcase pavasva viśvābhyo me prajābhyo varcodasau varcase pavethām.
May splendour be in my self; may splendour be in my vigour; may splendour be in my life; may splendour be in my breath; may splendour be for all beings, for all creatures — may that splendour be for us.

कोऽसि कतमोऽसि कस्यासि को नामासि। यस्य ते नामामन्महि यं त्वा सोमेनातीतृपाम। भूउर्भुवः स्वः सुप्रजाः प्रजाभिः स्यां सुवीरो वीरैः सुपोषः पोषैः।
Ko'si katamo'si kasyāsi ko nāmāsi. Yasya te nāmāmanmahi ya≈ tvā somenātītṛpāma. Bhūurbhuvaḥ svaḥ suprajāḥ prajābhiḥ syāṃ suvīro vīraiḥ supoṣaḥ poṣaiḥ.
Who are you? Which one are you? Whose are you? What is your name? May we know your names, by which we may satisfy you with Soma. May you be on earth, in the mid-world and heaven; may you be well-born among creatures, endowed with heroes; may you be nurtured and nourished by protectors.

ऊपयामगृहीतोऽ सि मधवे त्वोपयामगृहीतोऽसि माधवाय त्वोपयामगृहीतोऽसि शुक्राय त्वोपयामगृहीतोऽसि शुचये त्वोपयामगृहीतोऽसि नभसे त्वोपयामगृहीतोऽसि नभस्याय त्वोपयामगृहीतोऽसीषे त्वो-पयामगृहीतोऽस्यूउर्ज्जे त्वो-पयामगृहीतोऽसि सहसे त्वोपयामगृहितोऽसि सहस्याय त्वोपयामगृहीतोऽसि तपसे त्वोपयामगृहीतोऽसि तपस्याय त्वोपयामगृहीतोऽस्यंहसस्पतये त्वा।
ūpayāmagṛhīto' si madhave tvopayāmagṛhīto'si mādhavāya tvopayāmagṛhīto'si śukrāya tvopayāmagṛhīto'si śucaye tvopayāmagṛhīto'si nabhase tvopayāmagṛhīto'si nabhasyāya tvopayāmagṛhīto'sīṣe tvo-payāmagṛhīto'syūurjje tvo-payāmagṛhīto'si sahase tvopayāmagṛhito'si sahasyāya tvopayāmagṛhīto'si tapase tvopayāmagṛhīto'si tapasyāya tvopayāmagṛhīto'syaṃhasaspataye tvā.
May you be taken up, O Madhava; may you be taken up, O Mādhava; may you be taken up, O Śukra; may you be taken up for the Pure One; may you be taken up, O Sky; may you be taken up for the Sky; may you be taken up, O Dawn; may you be taken up for the Sun; may you be taken up, O Strength; may you be taken up for Strength; may you be taken up, O Heat; may you be taken up for Heat; may you be taken up, O Hansaspatí (Lord of the Birds).
Yajurveda 7.31 — Indragni Devate

ईन्द्राग्नीऽ आगतं सुतं गीर्भिर्नभो वरेण्यम। आस्य पातं धियेषिता। ऊपयामगृहीतोऽसीन्द्राग्निभ्यां त्वै-ष ते योनिरिन्द्राग्निभ्याम त्वा।
īndrāgnī' āgataṃ suta≈ gīrbhirnabho vareṇyam. āsya pāta≈ dhiyeṣitā. ūpayāmagṛhīto'sīndrāgnibhyā≈ tvai-ṣa te yonirindrāgnibhyām tvā.
Indra and Agni brought forth the born one, praised by the hymns, excellent in heaven. May she be granted a share; may intellects protect her. Having aided and taken her, Indra and Agni — by you is that womb; from Indra and Agni be you (born).

आ घा येऽ अग्निमिन्धते स्तृणन्ति बर्हिरानुषक। येषामिन्द्रो युवा सखा। ऊपयामगृहीतोऽ स्यग्नीन्द्राभ्याम त्वैष ते योनिरग्नीन्द्राभ्याम त्वा।
Å ghā ye' agnimindhate stṛṇanti barhirānuṣak. Yeṣāmindro yuvā sakhā. ūpayāmagṛhīto' syagnīndrābhyām tvaiṣa te yoniragnīndrābhyām tvā.
They invoke Agni with lofty callings; the outer ones move to the sacred grass. Of whom Indra is the youthful friend—he has advanced and taken hold; from the two Indras (Agni and Indra) this is your origin; from the two Indras (Agni and Indra) you (are born).

ओमासश्चर्षणीधृतो विश्वे देवासऽ आगत। दाश्वांन्सो दाशुषः सुतम। ऊपयामगृहीतोऽसि विश्वेभ्यस्त्वा देवेभ्यऽ एष ते योनिर्विश्वेभ्यस्त्वा देवेभ्यः।
Omāsaścarṣaṇīdhṛto viśve devāsa' āgata. Dāśvāṃnso dāśuṣaḥ sutam. ūpayāmagṛhīto'si viśvebhyastvā devebhya' eṣa te yonirviśvebhyastvā devebhyaḥ.
Om — You, sustaining the moon and the shafts, have come to all the gods. Born of the ten (parts), identified as the tenfold son. You were taken up and grasped by all; to the gods you belong. This is your womb — to the gods you belong.

विश्वे देवासऽ आगत शृणुता म इमं हवम। एदं बर्हिर्निषीदत। ऊपयामगृहीतोऽसि विश्वेभ्यस्त्वा देवेभ्यऽ एष ते योनिर्विश्वेभ्यस्त्वा देवेभ्यः।
Viśve devāsa' āgata śṛṇutā ma imaṃ havam. Eda≈ barhirniṣīdata. ūpayāmagṛhīto'si viśvebhyastvā devebhya' eṣa te yonirviśvebhyastvā devebhyaḥ.
Hear, all gods who have come: this is the oblation. Sit outside of this. You have been taken up and received; from you to the gods this is his origin; from the gods to you is his womb.

ईन्द्र मरुत्वऽइह पाहि सोमं यथा शार्यातेऽ अपिबः सुतस्य। तव प्रणीती तव शूउर शर्मन्नाविवासन्ति कवयः सुयज्ञाः। ऊपयामगृहीतोऽ सीन्द्राय त्वा मरुत्वतऽ एष ते योनिरिन्द्राय त्वा मरुत्वते।
īndra marutva'iha pāhi soma≈ yathā śāryāte' apibaḥ sutasya. Tava praṇītī tava śūura śarmannāvivāsanti kavayaḥ suyaj¤āḥ. ūpayāmagṛhīto' sīndrāya tvā marutvata' eṣa te yonirindrāya tvā marutvate.
Protect Soma here like Indra and the Maruts protect; as sons drink, so be guarded. Your promise—brave, heroic—protects; the poets, skilled in sacrifice, dwell in your shelter. Having taken hold, Indra-like, you protect; this is your birth for Indra, you are born to Indra.

मरुत्वन्तं वृषभं वावृधानमकवारिं दिव्यं शासमिन्द्रम। विश्वासाहमवसे नू उ तनायोग्रं सहोदामिह तं हुवेम। ऊपयामगृहीतोऽ सीन्द्राय त्वा मरुत्वतऽएष ते योनिरिन्द्राय त्वा मरुत्वते। ऊपयामगृहीतोऽ सि मरुताम त्वौजसे।
Marutvanta≈ vṛṣabha≈ vāvṛdhānamakavāri≈ divyaṃ śāsamindram. Viśvāsāhamavase nū u tanāyograṃ sahodāmiha taṃ huvema. ūpayāmagṛhīto' sīndrāya tvā marutvata'eṣa te yonirindrāya tvā marutvate. ūpayāmagṛhīto' si marutām tvaujase.
O mighty bull endowed with marut-like force, bring forth the divine ordinance of Indra. I trust; now, I offer this powerful, near-offering together here—let us invoke it. Having taken hold, Indra-like, you protect; this is your birth for Indra, you are born to Indra. Having seized, be thou of Maruts in vigor.
Yajurveda 7.37 — Prajapati Devata

सजोषाऽ इन्द्र सगणो मरुद्भिः सोमं पिब वृत्रहा शूउर विद्वान। जहि शत्रूउंनऽ रप मृधो नुदस्वाथाभयम कृणुहि विश्वतो नः। ऊपयामगृहीतोऽ सीन्द्राय त्वा मरुत्वतऽ एष ते योनिरिन्द्राय त्वा मरुत्वते।
Sajoṣā' indra sagaṇo marudbhiḥ soma≈ piba vṛtrahā śūura vidvān. Jahi śatrūuṃn' rapa mṛdho nudasvāthābhayam kṛṇuhi viśvato naḥ. ūpayāmagṛhīto' sīndrāya tvā marutvata' eṣa te yonirindrāya tvā marutvate.
With companions, Indra, drink Soma with the Maruts; hero and wise slayer of Vṛtra. Strike down the foe, humble not, deliver us from fear; do this for us on all sides. Having seized, Indra-like, you protect; this is your birth for Indra, you are born to Indra.

महांनऽ इन्द्रो नृवदा चर्षणिप्राऽ उत द्विबर्हाऽ अमिनः सहोभिः। आस्मद्र्यग्वावृधे वीर्यायोरुः पृथुः सुकृतः कर्तृभिर्भू उ त। ऊपयामगृहीतोऽसि महेन्द्राय त्वैष ते योनिर्महेन्द्राय त्वा।
Mahāṃn' indro nṛvadā carṣaṇiprā' uta dvibarhā' aminaḥ sahobhiḥ. āsmadryagvāvṛdhe vīryāyoruḥ pṛthuḥ sukṛtaḥ kartṛbhirbhū u t. ūpayāmagṛhīto'si mahendrāya tvaiṣa te yonirmahendrāya tvā.
Great Indra, giver to men, shining like a ploughshare with companions—your heroic strength, our horses’ growth, abundant and of good deeds, made by your doers. Having seized, O great Indra, you protect; this is your great birth for Indra, you are born to Indra.
Yajurveda 7.41 — Surya Devata

ऊदु त्यं जातवेदसं देवं वहन्ति केतवः। दृशे विश्वाय सूउर्यं स्वाहा।
ūdu tya≈ jātavedasa≈ deva≈ vahanti ketavaḥ. Dṛśe viśvāya sūuryaṃ svāhā.
Bring forth Jātavedas, the gods carry him. Behold the sun for the world—svāhā.
Yajurveda 7.42 — Surya Devata

चित्रं देवानामुदगादनीकं चक्षुर्मित्रस्य वरुणस्याग्नेः। आ प्रा द्यावापृथिवीऽ अन्तरिक्षं सूउर्यऽ आत्मा जगतस्थुषश्च स्वाहा।
Citra≈ devānāmudagādanīka≈ cakṣurmitrasya varuṇasyāgneḥ. Å prā dyāvāpṛthivī' antarikṣaṃ sūurya' ātmā jagatasthuṣaśca svāhā.
Radiant eye of the gods, the uplifting eye of Mitra, Varuna, Agni. Grant the sky, earth, and mid-air; the sun is the soul, the world abides—svāhā.
Yajurveda 7.43 — Antaryami jagadeeshwara Devata

आग्ने नय सुपथा रायेऽ अस्मान विश्वानि देव वयुनानि विद्वान। युयोध्यस्मज्जुहुराणमेनो भूउयिष्ठां ते नम उक्तिम विधेम स्वाहा।
āgne naya supathā rāye' asmān viśvāni deva vayunāni vidvān. Yuyodhyasmajjuhurāṇameno bhūuyiṣṭhā≈ te nama uktim vidhema svāhā.
Agni, lead us on the right path to wealth; all gods, wise ones, carry the winds. Fight for us; make firm this chosen offering—may we proclaim the praise of thy might—svāhā.
Yajurveda 7.44 — Prajapati Devata

आयं नोऽअग्निर्वरिवस्कृणोत्वयं मृधः पुरऽ एतु प्रभिन्दन।
āya≈ no'agnirvarivaskṛṇotvaya≈ mṛdhaḥ pura' etu prabhindan.
This Agni of ours, do thou like a channel make flow; O gentle one, go forth and break through the town.
Yajurveda 7.45 — Prajapati Devata

रुपेण वो रूउपमभ्यागां तुथो वो विश्ववेदा विभजतु। र्तस्य पथा प्रेत चन्द्रदक्षिणा वि स्वः पश्य व्यन्तरिक्षं यतस्व सदस्यैः।
Rupeṇa vo rūupamabhyāgā≈ tutho vo viśvavedā vibhajatu. Rtasya pathā preta candradakṣiṇā vi svaḥ paśya vyantarikṣa≈ yatasva sadasyaiḥ.
With form may he approach you; may all-knowing ones divide for you. The path of order, the departed, moon to the south—observe the mid-air and the realms with the companions.
Yajurveda 7.47 — Varuna Devata

आग्नये त्वा मह्यं वरुणो ददातु सोऽमृतत्वमशीयायुर्दात्रऽ एधि मयो मह्यं प्रतिग्रहीत्रे रुद्राय त्वा मह्यं वरुणो ददातु सोऽमृतत्त्वमशीय प्राणो दात्रऽ एधि वयो मह्यम प्रतिग्रहीत्रे बृहस्पतये त्वा मह्वं वरुणो ददातु सोऽ मृतत्त्वमशीय त्वग्दात्रऽ एधि मयो मह्यं प्रतिग्रहीत्रे यमाय त्वा मह्यं वरुणो ददातु सोऽ मृतत्वमशीय हयो दात्रऽ एधि वयो मह्यं प्रतिग्रहीत्रे।
āgnaye tvā mahya≈ varuṇo dadātu so'mṛtatvamaśīyāyurdātra' edhi mayo mahya≈ pratigrahītre rudrāya tvā mahya≈ varuṇo dadātu so'mṛtattvamaśīya prāṇo dātra' edhi vayo mahyam pratigrahītre bṛhaspataye tvā mahva≈ varuṇo dadātu so' mṛtattvamaśīya tvagdātra' edhi mayo mahya≈ pratigrahītre yamāya tvā mahya≈ varuṇo dadātu so' mṛtatvamaśīya hayo dātra' edhi vayo mahya≈ pratigrahītre.
To Agni grant, and Varuna give immortality to me; grant life, O giver. Receive for me, Rudra; Varuna grant me immortality, give breath—receive for me. To Brihaspati, Varuna grant immortality; to thee grant me immortality—receive for me. To Yama, Varuna grant immortality; to thee give horses—receive for me.
Yajurveda 7.48 — Atma Devata

कोऽदात्कस्माऽअदात्कामोऽदात्कामायादात। कामो दाता कामः प्रतिग्रहीता कामैतत्ते।
Ko'dātkasmā'adātkāmo'dātkāmāyādāt. Kāmo dātā kāmaḥ pratigrahītā kāmaitatte.
Who gives? Who did not give? Desire gave, desire was given, desire gave for desire. Desire is the giver; desire is the receiver—desire is thine.
