ऊपयामगृहीतोऽसि ध्रुवोऽसि ध्रुवक्षितिर्ध्रुवाणां ध्रुवतमोऽच्युतानामच्युतक्षित्तमऽ एष ते योनिर्वैश्वानराय त्वा। ध्रुवं ध्रुवेण मनसा वाचा सोममवनयामि। आथा नऽ इन्द्रऽ इद्विशोऽसपत्नाः समनसस्करत।
ūpayāmagṛhīto'si dhruvo'si dhruvakṣitirdhruvāṇā≈ dhruvatamo'cyutānāmacyutakṣittama' eṣa te yonirvaiśvānarāya tvā. Dhruva≈ dhruveṇa manasā vācā somamavanayāmi. āthā na' indra' idviśo'sapatnāḥ samanasaskarat.
You are grasped and upheld; you are Dhruva, the steadfast; the protector of the steadfast, the supreme steadfast among the infallible, the highest refuge of the infallible—this is your womb for Viśvānara. Firmly, with firmness, with mind and speech I invoke Soma. Now, O Indra, do not let the hostile forces of this world be equal-minded.
