ततश च शिशुनागस तत्पुत्रश च काकवर्णो भविता। तत्पुत्रः क्षेमधर्मा तस्यापि क्षत्रौजाः। तत्पुत्रो विधिसारस ततश चाजातशत्रुः। तस्माच च दर्भको दर्भकाच चोदयनः। तस्माद अपि नन्दिवर्धनस ततो महानन्दी। इत्य एते शैशुनागा दश भूमिपालास त्रीणि वर्षशतानि द्विषष्ट्यधिकानि भविष्यन्ति।।
tataś ca śiśunāgas tatputraś ca kākavarṇo bhavitā| tatputraḥ kṣemadharmā tasyāpi kṣatraujāḥ| tatputro vidhisāras tataś cājātaśatruḥ| tasmāc ca darbhako darbhakāc codayanaḥ| tasmād api nandivardhanas tato mahānandī| ity ete śaiśunāgā daśa bhūmipālās trīṇi varṣaśatāni dviṣaṣṭyadhikāni bhaviṣyanti||
Then, the Shishunaga will arise, and his son, the crow-colored one, will be born. His son will be Kshema-Dharma, and he will possess the strength of Kshatriyas. His son will be Vidhisarasa, and then will come Ajatashatru. From him will arise Darbhaka, and from Darbhaka will come Udayana. From him will come Nandivardhana, and then the great Nandi. Thus, these Shishunagas, ten kings, will rule for three hundred and sixty years.

mahānandisutaḥ śūdrāgarbhodbhavo 'tilubdho mahāpadmo nandaḥ paraśurāma ivāparo 'khilakṣatrāntakārī bhavitā||
The son of Mahānandi, born from a Shudra womb, will be exceedingly greedy, like the great lotus, and he will be the annihilator of all Kshatriyas, like Parashurama.

tataḥprabhṛti śūdrā bhūmipālā bhaviṣyanti| sa caikacchatrām anullaṅghitaśāsano mahāpadmaḥ pṛthivīṃ bhokṣyati||
From now on, Shudras will be the rulers. That great lotus will enjoy the earth, not violating the single rule.

तस्याप्य अष्टौ सुताः सुमाल्याद्या भवितारः। तस्य च महापद्मस्यानु पृथिवीं भोक्ष्यन्ति। महापद्मस तत्पुत्राश च एकं वर्षशतम अवनीपतयो भविष्यन्ति। नवैतान नन्दान कौटिल्यो ब्राह्मणः समुद्धरिष्यति।।
tasyāpy aṣṭau sutāḥ sumālyādyā bhavitāraḥ| tasya ca mahāpadmasyānu pṛthivīṃ bhokṣyanti| mahāpadmas tatputrāś ca ekaṃ varṣaśatam avanīpatayo bhaviṣyanti| navaitān nandān kauṭilyo brāhmaṇaḥ samuddhariṣyati||
He will have eight sons, including Sumalya, who will rule the earth. The great lotus and his sons will rule for a hundred years. None of these Nandas will be rescued by the clever Brahmin.

In their absence, the Mauryas will rule the earth. Kautilya will anoint Chandragupta as king.

tasyāpi putro bindusāro bhaviṣyati| tasyāpy aśokavardhanas tataḥ suyaśās tato daśarathas tataḥ saṃgatas tataḥ śāliśūkas tasmāt somaśarmā tasmāc chatadhanvā| tasyāpy'nu bṛhadrathanāmā bhavitā| evaṃ mauryā daśa bhūpatayo bhaviṣyanti abdaśataṃ saptatriṃśaduttaram| teṣām ante pṛthivīṃ śuṅgā bhokṣyanti||
From him, a son named Bindusāra will be born. From him, Ashokavardhana, then Suyaśas, then Daśaratha, then Saṅgata, then Śāliśūka. From him, Somaśarmā, and from him, Chatadhanvā. A descendant named Bṛhadratha will also arise. Thus, the Mauryas will have ten kings for a hundred and thirty-seven years. In the end, the Shungas will rule the earth.

asyātmajo 'gnimitras tasmāt sujyeṣṭhas tato vasumitras tasmād apy ardrakas tataḥ pulindakas tato ghoṣavasus tasmād api vajramitras tato bhāgavataḥ||
His son, Agnimitra, will be born, followed by Sujyeṣṭha, then Vasumitra, then Ardraka, then Pulindaka, then Ghoṣavasu, then Vajramitra, and finally Bhāgavata.

Thus, Devabhūti will arise. These ten Shungas will rule the earth for a hundred and twelve years. Then, Kaṇva will rule.

देवभूतिं तु शुङ्गराजानं व्यसनिनं तस्यैवामात्यः कण्वो वसुदेवनामा निपात्य स्वयम अवनीं भोक्ष्यते। तस्य पुत्रो भूमित्रस तस्यापि नारायणः। नारायणस्यात्मजः सुशर्मा। एते काण्वायनाश चत्वारः पञ्चचत्वारिंशद वर्षाणि भूपतयो भविष्यन्ति। सुशर्माणं तु काण्वं स्वभृत्यो बलात शिप्रकनामा हत्वान्ध्रजातीयो वसुधां भोक्ष्यति। ततश च कृष्णनामा तद्भ्राता भूपतिर भावी। तस्य पुत्रः श्रीशातकर्णिस तस्यापि पूर्णोत्सङ्गस तत्पुत्रश च शातकर्णिस तस्माच च लम्बोदरस तस्माद दिवीलकस ततो मेघस्वातिस ततः पटुमान। ततश चारिष्टकर्मा ततो हालो हालात पत्तलकस ततः प्रविल्ल सेनस ततः सुन्दरः शातकर्णी तस्माच चकोरः शातकर्णी ततः शिवस्वातिस ततश च गोमतीपुत्रस तत्पुत्रः पुलिमान। तस्यापि शातकर्णी ततः शिवश्रीस ततः शिवस्कन्धः। तस्माद यज्ञश्रीस ततो विजयस ततश चन्द्रश्रीस तस्यापि पुलोमाविः। एवम एते त्रिंशच चत्वार्य अब्दशतानि षट्पञ्चाशदधिकानि पृथिवीं भोक्ष्यन्त्य आन्ध्रभृत्याः।।
devabhūtiṃ tu śuṅgarājānaṃ vyasaninaṃ tasyaivāmātyaḥ kaṇvo vasudevanāmā nipātya svayam avanīṃ bhokṣyate| tasya putro bhūmitras tasyāpi nārāyaṇaḥ| nārāyaṇasyātmajaḥ suśarmā| ete kāṇvāyanāś catvāraḥ pañcacatvāriṃśad varṣāṇi bhūpatayo bhaviṣyanti| suśarmāṇaṃ tu kāṇvaṃ svabhṛtyo balāt śiprakanāmā hatvāndhrajātīyo vasudhāṃ bhokṣyati| tataś ca kṛṣṇanāmā tadbhrātā bhūpatir bhāvī| tasya putraḥ śrīśātakarṇis tasyāpi pūrṇotsaṅgas tatputraś ca śātakarṇis tasmāc ca lambodaras tasmād divīlakas tato meghasvātis tataḥ paṭumān| tataś cāriṣṭakarmā tato hālo hālāt pattalakas tataḥ pravilla senas tataḥ sundaraḥ śātakarṇī tasmāc cakoraḥ śātakarṇī tataḥ śivasvātis tataś ca gomatīputras tatputraḥ pulimān| tasyāpi śātakarṇī tataḥ śivaśrīs tataḥ śivaskandhaḥ| tasmād yajñaśrīs tato vijayas tataś candraśrīs tasyāpi pulomāviḥ| evam ete triṃśac catvāry abdaśatāni ṣaṭpañcāśadadhikāni pṛthivīṃ bhokṣyanty āndhrabhṛtyāḥ||
Devabhūti, the king of the Shungas, will face misfortune. His minister Kaṇva, named Vasudeva, will kill him and take the earth. His son, Bhūmitra, and also Nārāyaṇa. The son of Nārāyaṇa will be Suśarmā. These four Kaṇvāyanas will rule for forty-five years. Suśarmā will, by force, kill Kaṇva's servant named Śipraka and take the earth. Then, Kṛṣṇa will be the future king, and his son will be Śrīśātakarṇi.

सप्ताभीराः दश गर्दभिलाश च भूभुजो भविष्यन्ति। ततः षोडश शका भूपतयो भवितारः। ततश चाष्टौ यवनाश चतुर्दश तुषारा मुण्डाश च त्रयोदश एकादश मौनाः। एते पृथिवीं त्रयोदशवर्षशतानि नवनवत्यधिकानि भोक्ष्यन्ति।।
saptābhīrāḥ daśa gardabhilāś ca bhūbhujo bhaviṣyanti| tataḥ ṣoḍaśa śakā bhūpatayo bhavitāraḥ| tataś cāṣṭau yavanāś caturdaśa tuṣārā muṇḍāś ca trayodaśa ekādaśa maunāḥ| ete pṛthivīṃ trayodaśavarṣaśatāni navanavatyadhikāni bhokṣyanti||
Seven Abhiras, ten donkey-like beings, and earth-dwellers will emerge. Then, sixteen Shakas will become kings. After that, eight Yavanas, fourteen Tusharas, thirteen Mundas, and eleven Mounis will arise. These will enjoy the earth for thirteen hundred years and ninety more.

ततश च पौरा एकादश भूपतयो ऽब्दशतानि त्रीणि महीं भोक्ष्यन्ति। तेषूत्सन्नेषु कैलकिला यवना भूपतयो भविष्यन्त्य अमूर्धाभिषिक्ताः। तेषां विन्ध्यशक्तिः।।
tataś ca paurā ekādaśa bhūpatayo 'bdaśatāni trīṇi mahīṃ bhokṣyanti| teṣūtsanneṣu kailakilā yavanā bhūpatayo bhaviṣyanty amūrdhābhiṣiktāḥ| teṣāṃ vindhyaśaktiḥ||
Then, eleven Pauras will enjoy the earth for three hundred years. Among them, the Yavanas will emerge as kings, uncoronated. Their power will be from the Vindhya.

ततः पुरंजयस ततो रामचन्द्रस तस्माद धर्मो धर्माद वङ्गरः कृतनन्दनः सुषिनन्दिस तद्भ्राता नन्दियशाः शिशुकप्रवीरौ चैते वर्षशतं षड वर्षाणि च भविष्यन्ति। ततस तत्पुत्रास त्रयोदशैते बाह्लिकाश च त्रयः। ततः पुष्यमित्रपटुमित्रास त्रयोदश मेकलाश च सप्तान्ध्राः। कोसलायां तु नवैव भूपतयो भविष्यन्ति। नैषधास तु तावन्त एव।।
tataḥ puraṃjayas tato rāmacandras tasmād dharmo dharmād vaṅgaraḥ kṛtanandanaḥ suṣinandis tadbhrātā nandiyaśāḥ śiśukapravīrau caite varṣaśataṃ ṣaḍ varṣāṇi ca bhaviṣyanti| tatas tatputrās trayodaśaite bāhlikāś ca trayaḥ| tataḥ puṣyamitrapaṭumitrās trayodaśa mekalāś ca saptāndhrāḥ| kosalāyāṃ tu navaiva bhūpatayo bhaviṣyanti| naiṣadhās tu tāvanta eva||
Then, Puranjaya and Ramachandra will arise, from whom Dharma will emerge, along with the virtuous Nandiya and Shishukapravira. Their descendants will be thirteen Bahlika kings. Then, Pushyamitra and Patumitra will emerge, along with thirteen Mekalas and seven Andhras. In Kosala, nine kings will arise, while the Naishadhas will remain as they are.

मागधायां तु विश्वस्फटिकसंज्ञो ऽन्यान वर्णान करिष्यति। कैवर्तपटुपुलिन्दब्राह्मणान राज्ये स्थापयिष्यति। उत्साद्याखिलक्षत्रजातिम। नव नागाः पद्मावत्यां नाम पुर्यां मथुरायाम अनुगङ्गाप्रयागं मागधा गुप्ताश च भोक्ष्यन्ति। कोशलौड्रपुण्ड्रताम्रलिप्तान समुद्रतटपुरीं च देवरक्षितो रक्षिष्यति। कलिङ्गमाहिषकमाहेन्द्रा भौमां गुहां भोक्ष्यन्ति। नैषधनैमिषिककालतोयान जनपदान मणिधानकवंश्या भोक्ष्यन्ति। त्रैराज्यमूषिकजनपदान कनकाह्वया भोक्ष्यन्ति। सौराष्ट्रावन्तिशूद्रान अर्बुदमरुभूमिविषयांश च व्रात्या द्विजाभीरशूद्राद्या भोक्ष्यन्ति। सिन्धुतटदाविकोर्वीचन्द्रभागाकाश्मीरविषयांश च व्रात्या म्लेच्छादयः शूद्रा भोक्ष्यन्ति। एते च तुल्यकालाः सर्वे पृथिव्यां भूभृतो भविष्यन्ति। अल्पप्रसादा बृहत्कोपाः सर्वकालम अनृताधर्मरुचयः स्त्रीबालगोवधकर्तारः परस्वादानरुचयो ऽल्पसारा उदितास्तमितप्रायाः स्वल्पायुषो महेच्छा ह्य अल्पधर्माश च भविष्यन्ति।।
māgadhāyāṃ tu viśvasphaṭikasaṃjño 'nyān varṇān kariṣyati| kaivartapaṭupulindabrāhmaṇān rājye sthāpayiṣyati| utsādyākhilakṣatrajātim| nava nāgāḥ padmāvatyāṃ nāma puryāṃ mathurāyām anugaṅgāprayāgaṃ māgadhā guptāś ca bhokṣyanti| kośalauḍrapuṇḍratāmraliptān samudrataṭapurīṃ ca devarakṣito rakṣiṣyati| kaliṅgamāhiṣakamāhendrā bhaumāṃ guhāṃ bhokṣyanti| naiṣadhanaimiṣikakālatoyān janapadān maṇidhānakavaṃśyā bhokṣyanti| trairājyamūṣikajanapadān kanakāhvayā bhokṣyanti| saurāṣṭrāvantiśūdrān arbudamarubhūmiviṣayāṃś ca vrātyā dvijābhīraśūdrādyā bhokṣyanti| sindhutaṭadāvikorvīcandrabhāgākāśmīraviṣayāṃś ca vrātyā mlecchādayaḥ śūdrā bhokṣyanti| ete ca tulyakālāḥ sarve pṛthivyāṃ bhūbhṛto bhaviṣyanti| alpaprasādā bṛhatkopāḥ sarvakālam anṛtādharmarucayaḥ strībālagovadhakartāraḥ parasvādānarucayo 'lpasārā uditāstamitaprāyāḥ svalpāyuṣo mahecchā hy alpadharmāś ca bhaviṣyanti||
In Magadha, the one known as Vishvasphatika will create other castes. He will establish Kaivartas, Patupulindas, and Brahmanas in the kingdom, destroying all Kshatriyas. Nine Nagas will enjoy the city named Padmavati in Mathura, along with Anuganga and Prayaga. The protected city by the gods will be safeguarded. The Kalingas, Mahishakas, and Bhumas will enjoy the caves. The Naishadhas, Naimishikas, and Kalatoiyans will enjoy the lands of the Maṇidhānakas. The Trirajya and Mūsika lands will enjoy the golden ones. The Saurashtrians and Avanti Shudras will enjoy the lands of Arbudamaru. The outcastes will enjoy the lands of Sindhu. All these will exist simultaneously on earth.

तैश च विमिश्रा जनपदास तच्छीलवर्तिनो राजाश्रयशुष्मिणो म्लेच्छाचार्याश च विपर्ययेण वर्तमानाः प्रजाः क्षपयिष्यन्ति। ततश चानुदिनम अल्पाल्पह्रासव्यवच्छेदाद धर्मार्थयोर जगतः संक्षयो भविष्यति।।
taiś ca vimiśrā janapadās tacchīlavartino rājāśrayaśuṣmiṇo mlecchācāryāś ca viparyayeṇa vartamānāḥ prajāḥ kṣapayiṣyanti| tataś cānudinam alpālpahrāsavyavacchedād dharmārthayor jagataḥ saṃkṣayo bhaviṣyati||
These mixed populations will cause the current rulers and the Mleccha teachers to perish. Then, due to the continuous diminishment and separation of the Dharma and Artha, there will be a decline of the world.

ततश चार्थ एवाभिजनहेतुः। धनम एवाशेषधर्महेतुः। अभिरुचिर एव दाम्पत्यसंबन्धहेतुः। स्त्रीत्वम एवोपभोगहेतुः। अनृतम एव व्यवहारजयहेतुः। रत्नताम्रभागितैव पृथिवीहेतुः। ब्रह्मसूत्रम एव विप्रत्वहेतुः। लिङ्गधारणम एवाश्रमहेतुः। अन्याय एव वृत्तिहेतुः।।
tataś cārtha evābhijanahetuḥ| dhanam evāśeṣadharmahetuḥ| abhirucir eva dāmpatyasaṃbandhahetuḥ| strītvam evopabhogahetuḥ| anṛtam eva vyavahārajayahetuḥ| ratnatāmrabhāgitaiva pṛthivīhetuḥ| brahmasūtram eva vipratvahetuḥ| liṅgadhāraṇam evāśramahetuḥ| anyāya eva vṛttihetuḥ||
Thus, wealth is the cause of lineage; wealth is the cause of all dharma; attraction is the cause of marital relationships; femininity is the cause of enjoyment; falsehood is the cause of success in dealings; preciousness and copper are the causes of the earth; the Brahma Sutra is the cause of Brahminhood; the holding of the linga is the cause of ashrama; and injustice is the cause of livelihood.

Bathing is the cause of purification; giving is the cause of dharma; acceptance is the cause of marriage; holding good character is the qualification; distant water is the pilgrimage; thus, in this world, whoever is strong will be the ruler. And thus, the people residing in the valleys of the mountains will be burdened with greed; they will have food from honey, roots, fruits, leaves, and flowers. The trees will be covered with bark, and many people will endure cold, wind, heat, and rain. No one will live for twenty-three years, and in this Kali Yuga, destruction will come; all these people will meet their end.

When the principles of Shrauta and Smarta dharma are severely disturbed, and when the qualities of the creator of the universe, the Lord Vasudeva, who is the essence of all, are diminished, then the ruler of the world, endowed with eightfold prosperity, will descend here. He will destroy the wicked actions of all the evil-minded people and will establish the entire world in its own dharma. After that, at the end of the age, those who are awakened at the end of the night will have pure and crystal-clear thoughts.

utsṛjya pūrvajā yātā yāṃ nādāya gataḥ pitā tāṃ mameti vimūḍhatvāj jetum icchanti pārthivāḥ ||
Abandoning the previous one who has departed, whose father has gone away, they wish to conquer her due to their ignorance.

From Bhagiratha and others, Sagara, Kakutstha, Dashanana, and also Raghava and Lakshmana, as well as Yudhishthira and others, these all existed; this is the truth, not falsehood. Where are they? We do not know.

Knowing this, let not a man, even a wise one, have attachment to himself; let those who are from the field and others, who are different from the body, remain.
