अतश चेक्ष्वाकवो भविष्याः पार्थिवाः कथ्यन्ते। बृहद्बलस्य पुत्रो बृहत्क्षणः।।
ataś cekṣvākavo bhaviṣyāḥ pārthivāḥ kathyante| bṛhadbalasya putro bṛhatkṣaṇaḥ||
Thus, the Ikshvaku dynasty will have future kings. The son of Brihadbala will be named Brihatkshana.

तस्माद उरुक्षयस ततो वत्सो वत्साद वत्सव्यूहः। ततः प्रतिव्योमस तस्यापि दिवाकरस तस्मात सहदेवः।।
tasmād urukṣayas tato vatso vatsād vatsavyūhaḥ| tataḥ prativyomas tasyāpi divākaras tasmāt sahadevaḥ||
From that, the great warrior was born, and from him, the calf; from the calf, the calf's army. Then, from that, the sky was born, and from it, the sun; hence, Sahadeva.

इक्ष्वाकूणाम अयं वंशः सुमित्रान्तो भविष्यति यतस तं प्राप्य राजानं स संस्थां प्राप्स्यते कलौ ।।
ikṣvākūṇām ayaṃ vaṃśaḥ sumitrānto bhaviṣyati yatas taṃ prāpya rājānaṃ sa saṃsthāṃ prāpsyate kalau ||
This lineage of Ikshvaku will extend to Sumitra's end, from which a king will attain his kingdom in the Kali age.
