ततः सेतुः। सेतुपुत्र आरद्वान्नामा। तदात्मजो गान्धारः। ततो धर्मो धर्माद धृतो धृताद दुर्दमः। ततः प्रचेताः। प्रचेतसः पुत्रशतम अधर्मबहुलानां म्लेच्छानाम उदीच्यानाम आधिपत्यम अकरोत।।
tataḥ setuḥ| setuputra āradvānnāmā| tadātmajo gāndhāraḥ| tato dharmo dharmād dhṛto dhṛtād durdamaḥ| tataḥ pracetāḥ| pracetasaḥ putraśatam adharmabahulānāṃ mlecchānām udīcyānām ādhipatyam akarot||
Then there was Setu. The son of Setu was named Āradvān. His son was Gandhara. From him, Dharma, who was sustained by Dharma, became difficult to conquer. Then came Pracetas. Pracetas had a hundred sons, who ruled over the mlecchas of the northern regions, who were full of adharma.
