Kesin in the form of a horse, slain by Krishna; he is praised by Nārada - Verse 2
Vishnu Purana (GRETIL; M. M. Pathak critical edition) · Chapter 4 · Verse 16.2
turvasor vahnir ātmajo vahner gobhānus tataś ca traiśānus tasmāc ca karaṃdhamaḥ| tasyāpi maruttaḥ| so 'napatyo 'bhavat| tataś ca pauravaṃ duṣyantaṃ putram akalpayat| evaṃ yayātiśāpāt tadvaṃśaḥ pauravam vaṃśaṃ samāśritavān||
Turvasu's son was Vahni, and from Vahni came Gobhanu. From him came Traishanu, and from him came Karandhama. He had no offspring. Then he begot a son named Dushyanta from the Paurava lineage. Thus, due to Yayati's curse, that lineage became associated with the Paurava lineage.
