म॒न्द्रया॑ सोम॒ धार॑या॒ वृषा॑ पवस्व देव॒युः । अव्यो॒ वारे॑ष्वस्म॒युः
mandrayā soma dhārayā vṛṣā pavasva devayuḥ avyo vāreṣvasmayuḥ
May Soma, with kindly flow, with the vigour of the bull and divine breath, come to us in these days.

अ॒भि त्यं मद्यं॒ मद॒मिन्द॒विन्द्र॒ इति॑ क्षर । अ॒भि वा॒जिनो॒ अर्व॑तः
abhi tyaṃ madyaṃ madamindavindra iti kṣara abhi vājino arvataḥ
They poured forth intoxicating drink to Indra, the slayer of foes; the steed-borne brings the prize.

abhi tyaṃ pūrvyaṃ madaṃ suvāno arṣa pavitra ā abhi vājamuta śravaḥ
They offered the first, mighty draught, the sacred gift of the ancient seer; the prize poured forth, famed in hearing.

अनु॑ द्र॒प्सास॒ इन्द॑व॒ आपो॒ न प्र॒वता॑सरन् । पु॒ना॒ना इन्द्र॑माशत
anu drapsāsa indava āpo na pravatāsaran punānā indramāśata
Waters, like flowing rivers, followed Indra and did not desist; they urged on Indra again and again.

यमत्य॑मिव वा॒जिनं॑ मृ॒जन्ति॒ योष॑णो॒ दश॑ । वने॒ क्रीळ॑न्त॒मत्य॑विम्
yamatyamiva vājinaṃ mṛjanti yoṣaṇo daśa vane krīḷantamatyavim
As maidens sport, they anoint the joyous steed; ten young ones make merry in the grove.

तं गोभि॒र्वृष॑णं॒ रसं॒ मदा॑य दे॒ववी॑तये । सु॒तं भरा॑य॒ सं सृ॑ज
taṃ gobhirvṛṣaṇaṃ rasaṃ madāya devavītaye sutaṃ bharāya saṃ sṛja
Give him the sweetness of kine, the stream of strength, for the godly living; beget a son and make him great.

The god, the bearer of gods, upholds Indra with swift breath; he causes his milk to flow.

ātmā yajñasya raṃhyā suṣvāṇaḥ pavate sutaḥ pratnaṃ ni pāti kāvyam
The soul of the sacrifice, the blazing flame, upholds the offerer with swift breath; the singer bestows the inspired poem.

ए॒वा पु॑ना॒न इ॑न्द्र॒युर्मदं॑ मदिष्ठ वी॒तये॑ । गुहा॑ चिद्दधिषे॒ गिरः॑
evā punāna indrayurmadaṃ madiṣṭha vītaye guhā ciddadhiṣe giraḥ
Thus the peoples pour forth for Indra their mighty draught; the cave held the word and the hill gave ear.
