अ॒स्य प्र॒त्नामनु॒ द्युतं॑ शु॒क्रं दु॑दुह्रे॒ अह्र॑यः । पयः॑ सहस्र॒सामृषि॑म्
asya pratnāmanu dyutaṃ śukraṃ duduhre ahrayaḥ payaḥ sahasrasāmṛṣim
From his striving the radiant, shining by day, milked the thousandfold waters at the dawning hour.

अ॒यं सूर्य॑ इवोप॒दृग॒यं सरां॑सि धावति । स॒प्त प्र॒वत॒ आ दिव॑म्
ayaṃ sūrya ivopadṛgayaṃ sarāṃsi dhāvati sapta pravata ā divam
This Sun runs like a steed, flowing with swift courses; sevenfold he proceeds through the sky.

अ॒यं विश्वा॑नि तिष्ठति पुना॒नो भुव॑नो॒परि॑ । सोमो॑ दे॒वो न सूर्यः॑
ayaṃ viśvāni tiṣṭhati punāno bhuvanopari somo devo na sūryaḥ
He who abides as all things, over the realms of men; Soma is a god, not the Sun.

परि॑ णो दे॒ववी॑तये॒ वाजा॑ँ अर्षसि॒ गोम॑तः । पु॒ना॒न इ॑न्दविन्द्र॒युः
pari ṇo devavītaye vājām̐ arṣasi gomataḥ punāna indavindrayuḥ
Around him, for the god's protection, the might of bulls from the cows' loins; again Indra and Vindyau join.
