उत्ते॒ शुष्मा॑स ईरते॒ सिन्धो॑रू॒र्मेरि॑व स्व॒नः । वा॒णस्य॑ चोदया प॒विम्
utte śuṣmāsa īrate sindhorūrmeriva svanaḥ vāṇasya codayā pavim
From the eastern dawn the Sindhu rushed forth like a bull; with the voice of speech it urged the wind.

प्र॒स॒वे त॒ उदी॑रते ति॒स्रो वाचो॑ मख॒स्युवः॑ । यदव्य॒ एषि॒ सान॑वि
prasave ta udīrate tisro vāco makhasyuvaḥ yadavya eṣi sānavi
They were born, threefold, the offspring of speech when she bore forth; why are you not present, O kindly one?

अव्यो॒ वारे॒ परि॑ प्रि॒यं हरिं॑ हिन्व॒न्त्यद्रि॑भिः । पव॑मानं मधु॒श्चुत॑म्
avyo vāre pari priyaṃ hariṃ hinvantyadribhiḥ pavamānaṃ madhuścutam
They, the unhurried, encompass the beloved Hari and strike with mountains; the purifying one and the honey have leapt forth.

आ प॑वस्व मदिन्तम प॒वित्रं॒ धार॑या कवे । अ॒र्कस्य॒ योनि॑मा॒सद॑म्
ā pavasva madintama pavitraṃ dhārayā kave arkasya yonimāsadam
Bring here the purifying, sweet-nectared hymn, O seer, the seat of the sun's progeny.

स प॑वस्व मदिन्तम॒ गोभि॑रञ्जा॒नो अ॒क्तुभिः॑ । इन्द॒विन्द्रा॑य पी॒तये॑
sa pavasva madintama gobhirañjāno aktubhiḥ indavindrāya pītaye
He brought the sweet-nectared hymn with cows, adorned by gifts; for Indra-Indra for the chosen one.
