समि॑द्धो वि॒श्वत॒स्पतिः॒ पव॑मानो॒ वि रा॑जति । प्री॒णन्वृषा॒ कनि॑क्रदत्
samiddho viśvataspatiḥ pavamāno vi rājati prīṇanvṛṣā kanikradat
The purifier, the Lord of all, sprinkled everywhere, sets in motion; he delightedly yoked the bulls and seized them.

तनू॒नपा॒त्पव॑मानः॒ शृङ्गे॒ शिशा॑नो अर्षति । अ॒न्तरि॑क्षेण॒ रार॑जत्
tanūnapātpavamānaḥ śaṛṅge śiśāno arṣati antarikṣeṇa rārajat
The slender purifier drops like a young summit; he moves on the peak, he shone through the mid-air.

With hymns the purifier, moving, sets the realm to reign like sky-illumination; the sweet streams with vital vigor.

ब॒र्हिः प्रा॒चीन॒मोज॑सा॒ पव॑मानः स्तृ॒णन्हरिः॑ । दे॒वेषु॑ दे॒व ई॑यते
barhiḥ prācīnamojasā pavamānaḥ stṛṇanhariḥ deveṣu deva īyate
Outward is the ancient might with vigor; the purifier is a plucker of grass; among gods he is invoked as godly.

udātairjihate bṛhaddvāro devīrhiraṇyayīḥ pavamānena suṣṭutāḥ
The singers have struck the great door; goddesses rich in gold are of the goddess-tribe; praised is the purifier by them.

suśilpe bṛhatī mahī pavamāno vṛṣaṇyati naktoṣāsā na darśate
With fine skill the great earth expands; the purifier welling forth grows mighty; night and dawn are not seen.

ubhā devā nṛcakṣasā hotārā daivyā huve pavamāna indro vṛṣā
Both gods with human visions, the sacrificers, the divine invoked; the purifier Indra is the bull.

भार॑ती॒ पव॑मानस्य॒ सर॑स्व॒तीळा॑ म॒ही । इ॒मं नो॑ य॒ज्ञमा ग॑मन्ति॒स्रो दे॒वीः सु॒पेश॑सः
bhāratī pavamānasya sarasvatīḷā mahī imaṃ no yajñamā gamantisro devīḥ supeśasaḥ
Bharati, Sarasvati of the purifier, the earth is her place; these three goddesses with ample seats come to our sacrifice.

tvaṣṭāramagrajāṃ gopāṃ puroyāvānamā huve indurindro vṛṣā hariḥ pavamānaḥ prajāpatiḥ
Tvashtar, elder-born, protector of cows, the lord of settlements, I invoked by name; Indra, the bull, Hari, the purifier, the lord of beings.

वन॒स्पतिं॑ पवमान॒ मध्वा॒ सम॑ङ्ग्धि॒ धार॑या । स॒हस्र॑वल्शं॒ हरि॑तं॒ भ्राज॑मानं हिर॒ण्यय॑म्
vanaspatiṃ pavamāna madhvā samaṅgdhi dhārayā sahasravalśaṃ haritaṃ bhrājamānaṃ hiraṇyayam
Lord of the forest, the purifier, with sweet honey and with bonded force; shining with a thousand folds, green, bearing golden light.

विश्वे॑ देवाः॒ स्वाहा॑कृतिं॒ पव॑मान॒स्या ग॑त । वा॒युर्बृह॒स्पतिः॒ सूर्यो॒ऽग्निरिन्द्रः॑ स॒जोष॑सः
viśve devāḥ svāhākṛtiṃ pavamānasyā gata vāyurbṛhaspatiḥ sūryo'gnirindraḥ sajoṣasaḥ
All gods came with oblations; the purifier has obtained his rite: Vayu, Brihaspati, Sun, Agni, Indra—the auspicious ones.
