प्र ये गावो॒ न भूर्ण॑यस्त्वे॒षा अ॒यासो॒ अक्र॑मुः । घ्नन्तः॑ कृ॒ष्णामप॒ त्वच॑म्
pra ye gāvo na bhūrṇayastveṣā ayāso akramuḥ ghnantaḥ kṛṣṇāmapa tvacam
As the cows, attacking, lowed—they wore out those toils—slaying the black hide.

suvitasya manāmahe'ti setuṃ durāvyam sāhvāṃso dasyumavratam
For the well-armed one we set a mighty bridge; the hostile vow was shared by the bold band.

Hear, like rain, the sound of the purifying wind’s whisper; lightning moves across the sky.

The filling of pastures, O Indra, brought golden cattle to the horses of Vājavata’s sons.

स प॑वस्व विचर्षण॒ आ म॒ही रोद॑सी पृण । उ॒षाः सूर्यो॒ न र॒श्मिभिः॑
sa pavasva vicarṣaṇa ā mahī rodasī pṛṇa uṣāḥ sūryo na raśmibhiḥ
He poured out the churning of wealth upon the earth; dawns, suns are not without rays.

pari ṇaḥ śarmayantyā dhārayā soma viśvataḥ sarā raseva viṣṭapam
Around the steeds the shafted arms gleam; Soma is spread widely with channels for the worshipper.
