ए॒ष उ॒ स्य वृषा॒ रथोऽव्यो॒ वारे॑भिरर्षति । गच्छ॒न्वाजं॑ सह॒स्रिण॑म्
eṣa u sya vṛṣā ratho'vyo vārebhirarṣati gacchanvājaṃ sahasriṇam
This bull-like steed of his rushes on through the spacious waters; go with the chariot of a thousand steeds.

ए॒तं त्रि॒तस्य॒ योष॑णो॒ हरिं॑ हिन्व॒न्त्यद्रि॑भिः । इन्दु॒मिन्द्रा॑य पी॒तये॑
etaṃ tritasya yoṣaṇo hariṃ hinvantyadribhiḥ indumindrāya pītaye
This, the mighty goddess of the threefold place, slays enemies like mountains; Indu for Indra, to drink.

ए॒तं त्यं ह॒रितो॒ दश॑ मर्मृ॒ज्यन्ते॑ अप॒स्युवः॑ । याभि॒र्मदा॑य॒ शुम्भ॑ते
etaṃ tyaṃ harito daśa marmṛjyante apasyuvaḥ yābhirmadāya śumbhate
This, vigorous, is torn into ten pieces and overcome by the pressing ones; by these libations he rejoices mightily.

ए॒ष स्य मानु॑षी॒ष्वा श्ये॒नो न वि॒क्षु सी॑दति । गच्छ॑ञ्जा॒रो न यो॒षित॑म्
eṣa sya mānuṣīṣvā śyeno na vikṣu sīdati gacchañjāro na yoṣitam
This is his human form; the falcon does not behold her failing; go, old man, not to the woman.

ए॒ष स्य मद्यो॒ रसोऽव॑ चष्टे दि॒वः शिशुः॑ । य इन्दु॒र्वार॒मावि॑शत्
eṣa sya madyo raso'va caṣṭe divaḥ śiśuḥ ya indurvāramāviśat
This is his heady sap that the sky drank, the newborn; which Indu entered like the flowing draught.

eṣa sya pītaye suto harirarṣati dharṇasiḥ krandanyonimabhi priyam
This, for drinking, the son brightened and poured forth the green drink; he desired the beloved with cries from the womb.
