तम॑मृक्षन्त वा॒जिन॑मु॒पस्थे॒ अदि॑ते॒रधि॑ । विप्रा॑सो॒ अण्व्या॑ धि॒या
tamamṛkṣanta vājinamupasthe aditeradhi viprāso aṇvyā dhiyā
They beheld the warrior near the place of Aditya; the wise ones follow thought with their understanding.

तं गावो॑ अ॒भ्य॑नूषत स॒हस्र॑धार॒मक्षि॑तम् । इन्दुं॑ ध॒र्तार॒मा दि॒वः
taṃ gāvo abhyanūṣata sahasradhāramakṣitam induṃ dhartāramā divaḥ
Those cows approached him with a thousandfold power, unblinking; the sky-bearer (Indu) upheld him—O divine one.

तं वे॒धां मे॒धया॑ह्य॒न्पव॑मान॒मधि॒ द्यवि॑ । ध॒र्ण॒सिं भूरि॑धायसम्
taṃ vedhāṃ medhayāhyanpavamānamadhi dyavi dharṇasiṃ bhūridhāyasam
They pierced him with intelligence, purified, ascending to the sky; they settled abundant sustaining food.

तम॑ह्यन्भु॒रिजो॑र्धि॒या सं॒वसा॑नं वि॒वस्व॑तः । पतिं॑ वा॒चो अदा॑भ्यम्
tamahyanbhurijordhiyā saṃvasānaṃ vivasvataḥ patiṃ vāco adābhyam
They brought him forth with mighty force, by the light of Vivśvat; lord of speech they gave to the worshipper.

तं साना॒वधि॑ जा॒मयो॒ हरिं॑ हिन्व॒न्त्यद्रि॑भिः । ह॒र्य॒तं भूरि॑चक्षसम्
taṃ sānāvadhi jāmayo hariṃ hinvantyadribhiḥ haryataṃ bhūricakṣasam
They struck down the enemy born of many, slaying the foe with mountain-like blows; they granted him abundant vision.

taṃ tvā hinvanti vedhasaḥ pavamāna girāvṛdham indavindrāya matsaram
You are slain by the seers with purifying, far-spreading speech; Indra-Indra rejoices in rivalry for you.
