परि॒ प्रासि॑ष्यदत्क॒विः सिन्धो॑रू॒र्मावधि॑ श्रि॒तः । का॒रं बिभ्र॑त्पुरु॒स्पृह॑म्
pari prāsiṣyadatkaviḥ sindhorūrmāvadhi śritaḥ kāraṃ bibhratpuruspṛham
The poet sent forth around, struck like a wave of the Sindhu, bearing desire for the city; he carried forth the precious longing.

गि॒रा यदी॒ सब॑न्धवः॒ पञ्च॒ व्राता॑ अप॒स्यवः॑ । प॒रि॒ष्कृ॒ण्वन्ति॑ धर्ण॒सिम्
girā yadī sabandhavaḥ pañca vrātā apasyavaḥ pariṣkṛṇvanti dharṇasim
If the mountains with their kin, five vows having been drunk, cleanse the earth, they purify the bearing of the land.

आद॑स्य शु॒ष्मिणो॒ रसे॒ विश्वे॑ दे॒वा अ॑मत्सत । यदी॒ गोभि॑र्वसा॒यते॑
ādasya śuṣmiṇo rase viśve devā amatsata yadī gobhirvasāyate
All the gods tasted the essence of the fragrant juice; if he pastures cows with wealth, they were not deprived of ambrosia.

नि॒रि॒णा॒नो वि धा॑वति॒ जह॒च्छर्या॑णि॒ तान्वा॑ । अत्रा॒ सं जि॑घ्नते यु॒जा
niriṇāno vi dhāvati jahaccharyāṇi tānvā atrā saṃ jighnate yujā
The unerring one runs through, striking down the swift shafts; here he battles those yoked—he defeats the foe.

न॒प्तीभि॒र्यो वि॒वस्व॑तः शु॒भ्रो न मा॑मृ॒जे युवा॑ । गाः कृ॑ण्वा॒नो न नि॒र्णिज॑म्
naptībhiryo vivasvataḥ śubhro na māmṛje yuvā gāḥ kṛṇvāno na nirṇijam
From the streams born of heaven, the bright one did not wash me away; the cows make not barren the newly yoked one.

ati śritī tiraścatā gavyā jigātyaṇvyā vagnumiyarti yaṃ vide
Exceeding riches, the triple-angled one conquers the cows; he wins the cows observed by the seer whom the Angle knows.

अ॒भि क्षिपः॒ सम॑ग्मत म॒र्जय॑न्तीरि॒षस्पति॑म् । पृ॒ष्ठा गृ॑भ्णत वा॒जिनः॑
abhi kṣipaḥ samagmata marjayantīriṣaspatim pṛṣṭhā gṛbhṇata vājinaḥ
They hurled forward together, sweeping clean the lord of the rushes; the strong ones seized the backs—those who possess strength.

परि॑ दि॒व्यानि॒ मर्मृ॑श॒द्विश्वा॑नि सोम॒ पार्थि॑वा । वसू॑नि याह्यस्म॒युः
pari divyāni marmṛśadviśvāni soma pārthivā vasūni yāhyasmayuḥ
Around the divine secrets the Somas, earthly, sought all treasures; they brought the riches to us.
