pari pra dhanvendrāya soma svādurmitrāya pūṣṇe bhagāya
Round about, O Soma, pour forth for Indra, for Mitra, for Pūṣan, for the gods endowed with riches.

Indra, may Soma pour for thee the draughts of the well-born, for Daksha and for all the gods.

Thus for the Immortals, for great increase, he who is bright, the divine, the nectarine stream.

The bright one, the holy, grant to the gods and to the earth wealth and progeny by day.

Thou art the holder of heaven, bright, nectareous; in truth do thou follow the ordinances of the holy.

Thy streams, O bringer, refresh the draught, they purify Soma for the great heaven.

They know the youthful thought; they anoint Hari; they purify Soma for the gods, Indu.

He bore the name of Indra by whom all the Vṛtras were slain.

He with thousand eyes and thousand seed bestows cattle and glory upon men.

This Soma, called Indra’s delight, is borne by men like mountains, the beloved of heroes.

He poured forth the mighty flood; Soma, bearer of a thousand streams, is for Indra the holy cattle-giver.

अ॒ञ्जन्त्ये॑नं॒ मध्वो॒ रसे॒नेन्द्रा॑य॒ वृष्ण॒ इन्दुं॒ मदा॑य
añjantyenaṃ madhvo rasenendrāya vṛṣṇa induṃ madāya
They anointed that stream with sweet juice; Indra endowed the bull (Vrishṇa) with the moon for pride.

दे॒वेभ्य॑स्त्वा॒ वृथा॒ पाज॑से॒ऽपो वसा॑नं॒ हरिं॑ मृजन्ति
devebhyastvā vṛthā pājase'po vasānaṃ hariṃ mṛjanti
From the gods you vainly protect the waters; they anoint Hari (the Lord) with possession of the waters.

इन्दु॒रिन्द्रा॑य तोशते॒ नि तो॑शते श्री॒णन्नु॒ग्रो रि॒णन्न॒पः
indurindrāya tośate ni tośate śrīṇannugro riṇannapaḥ
The moon (Indu) rejoices for Indra; if he does not rejoice, wealth, generous as food, will not repay the waters' debt.
